We reserve the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. If we make material changes to how we treat your personal information, we will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

By accessing or using the Site, submitting information through our forms, or otherwise providing us with personal information, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy and consent to the information-handling practices described herein. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information through the following means:

Directly From You — When you submit information through forms on the Site (such as our “Get CLiC Information” or “Professional Inquiry” request forms), contact us by email, phone, or mail, purchase our products or services, submit a warranty registration or claim, apply for employment, or participate in surveys or promotions.

Automatically When You Visit the Site — As you navigate through the Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and usage patterns. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and similar technologies. Our cookie consent management platform (Cookiebot) presents you with options to accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit the Site. Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, collects anonymized usage and traffic data. HubSpot places tracking cookies to help us understand how visitors interact with our Site and to deliver relevant content.

From Third Parties — We may receive information about you from our affiliates, business partners, service providers, and third-party vendors, including analytics providers and advertising networks.

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

Fulfilling Requests — To respond to your inquiries, process your requests for information about CLiC smart privacy glass products, provide customer support, and fulfill product orders and warranty claims.

Communications — To send you information you have requested, including product literature, specification sheets, and the CLiC Inspiration Guide, and to communicate with you about your account, transactions, or inquiries.

Marketing — To send promotional communications about our products, services, events, and other offerings that may be of interest to you, where permitted by applicable law. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.

Personalization — To tailor the content and information we present to you, including targeted content and advertising.

Legal Compliance — To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.

Security and Fraud Prevention — To protect the security and integrity of the Site, our business, and our users, and to detect and prevent fraud or other harmful activities.

Business Operations — To manage our business operations, including internal administration, auditing, and record-keeping.

Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Essential Services

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and assist with marketing efforts. A cookie is a small data file placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories of cookies:

Necessary Cookies and Essential Services — Certain cookies and external service connections are essential for the Site to function and display properly. Necessary cookies enable basic features such as page navigation, secure access, and cookie consent preferences. These cookies do not collect personal information used for marketing purposes and cannot be disabled. In addition, the Site loads font files from Adobe’s Typekit content delivery network (use.typekit.net) as an essential service required for the visual presentation of the Site. This connection transmits limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser information) to Adobe’s servers but does not involve cookies or tracking. These essential connections load without requiring separate cookie consent.

Preference Cookies — These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you have made, such as language or region preferences, and to provide enhanced, personalized features.

Statistics Cookies — These cookies collect anonymized information about how visitors use the Site, including which pages are visited most often and how visitors navigate between pages. We use Google Analytics 4 (deployed through Google Tag Manager) to collect this data. Statistics cookies help us understand and improve the performance of the Site.

Marketing Cookies — These cookies are used to track visitors across websites and to display advertisements that are relevant to the individual user. HubSpot may place marketing cookies to help deliver targeted content based on your interactions with the Site.

We use Cookiebot as our cookie consent management platform. When you first visit the Site, a consent banner will appear allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You may change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookiebot icon or cookie settings link on the Site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings by refusing all or some cookies or by setting your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the Site may become inaccessible or not function properly.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in connection with the Site. Each of these services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies:

HubSpot — We use HubSpot for customer relationship management, form processing, email marketing, and website analytics. When you submit a form on the Site, your information is transmitted to and stored by HubSpot. HubSpot may also place cookies on your device to track your interactions with the Site. HubSpot’s privacy policy is available at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics 4 — We use Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to collect and analyze anonymized data about Site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they visited before coming to the Site. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Tag Manager — We use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy analytics and marketing tags on the Site. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but it facilitates the deployment of other services (such as Google Analytics and HubSpot tracking) that may collect data.

Cookiebot — We use Cookiebot by Usercentrics to manage cookie consent on the Site. Cookiebot records your consent preferences and ensures that non-essential cookies are not placed without your consent. Cookiebot’s privacy policy is available at www.cookiebot.com/en/privacy-policy.

Marker.io and Userback — We may use Marker.io and Userback as optional feedback and issue-reporting tools during periods of active site development. When enabled, these tools may collect information about your browser, device, and interactions with the Site for the purpose of capturing and resolving user-reported issues. These tools are not always active and are enabled only as needed.

Adobe Fonts (Typekit) — We use Adobe Fonts, delivered through Adobe’s Typekit content delivery network (use.typekit.net), to display custom web fonts required for the visual presentation of the Site. When you load any page on the Site, your browser automatically sends a request to Adobe’s servers to retrieve the font files. This request transmits your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and the referring origin (the domain name of the Site) to Adobe. Adobe Fonts is classified as a necessary service for the operation of the Site and loads without requiring cookie consent, as it does not place cookies or use tracking technologies beyond the data inherent in the HTTP request. Adobe’s privacy policy is available at www.adobe.com/privacy/policy.html.

Vercel — The Site is hosted on Vercel’s global content delivery network. When you visit the Site, Vercel’s servers process your request and may automatically log your IP address, request headers, and other connection metadata as part of standard web server operations. These logs are used for security monitoring, performance optimization, and abuse prevention. Vercel’s privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers — We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as form processing (HubSpot), analytics (Google), payment processing, email delivery, hosting (Vercel), font delivery (Adobe), and customer support. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to us and in accordance with this Policy.

Affiliates — We may share your information with Cardinal Glass Industries, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy.

Legal Obligations — We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business Transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.

With Your Consent — We may share your information for other purposes with your express consent.

Aggregated and De-Identified Data — We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, without restriction.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and secure data storage practices.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for restricting access to your devices. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or on your devices.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process the information, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and applicable legal requirements.

When personal information is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, we will securely delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your information and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

Your Privacy Rights Under State Law

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable state privacy and data protection laws. As of the date of this Policy, comprehensive consumer privacy laws are in effect in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Minnesota, among others. Additional Disclosures for California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information, as described above. In addition to those rights, the following disclosures apply:

Categories of Personal Information Collected — In the preceding twelve months, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA: identifiers (such as name, email address, IP address), commercial information (such as transaction history and product interests), Internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing history and interactions with the Site), geolocation data (derived from IP address), and professional or employment-related information (such as job title and company name).

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information — We do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA. We may share personal information with third-party advertising and analytics providers for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, which may constitute “sharing” under the CCPA. You have the right to opt out of such sharing by adjusting your cookie preferences through the Cookiebot consent banner.

Sensitive Personal Information — We do not collect or process sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA for purposes of inferring characteristics about you.

California Shine the Light — Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To make such a request, please contact us using the information below.

Financial Incentives — We do not offer financial incentives or price or service differences in exchange for the retention or sale of your personal information.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe that we may have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact Information section below.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals to the websites you visit. There is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, and the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals on its own. However, our cookie consent management platform (Cookiebot) is configured to recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When a GPC signal is detected, non-essential cookies will not be placed without your affirmative consent. You may enable GPC in supported browsers or browser extensions to automatically communicate your privacy preferences.

The Site is operated from the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence. By using the Site and providing us with information, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

The Site is not specifically directed at individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland. However, if you are located in one of these regions and have questions about how your data is handled, please contact us using the information below.
